The Brawley News 1954 Mrs. Williams Of Brawley Dies Mrs. Faye Vola Williams, 44 of north Imperial avenue, died in Pioneers Memorial hospital at 8:10 p.m. Tuesday the result of a stroke suffered on Monday. She had resided in Brawley the past 15 years, having come here from Texas. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist church of Brawley. Survivors include her husband, C. H. Williams; two sons, Howard and Donald, and a daughter, Paula, all of Brawley; a daughter, Mrs. Glenda Hillox of San Diego; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Magee, also of Brawley and two brothers, C.B. and R.W. Porter of Texas. A son, Joe Williams, died three years ago last September when he struck his head on a stone while diving into a canal. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the H. E. Thornton mortuary chapel with the Rev. Hugh Bronstad, pastor of Calvary Baptist church, officiating. Burial will be in Riverview cemetery.
