Funeral services for Artie Mae Jeansonne, were held in the White Oaks Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Paul Nugent & Jose Vattakunnel officiating; Interment in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Jeansonne,75, of Oakdale entered eternal rest at her residence. Born on Oct.14,1930 to Bill & Sally (Maricle) Monk in Oakdale. She was an accountant serving the public for many years, & loving mother & grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Lee Jeansonne, father & mother, Bill & Sally Monk & one sister, Judy Bryant. She leaves behind those to cherish her memories, but mourn her earthly presence five sons. Carl & wife Amie Jeansonne of Houston, Tex. James & wife Susan Jeansonne of Alexandria, Elton Jeansonne of Oakdale, Eric & wife Debbie Jeansonne of Oakdale, Art Ray & wife Amie Jeansonne of Oakdale, one daughter, Sandy & husband Marc Strother of Oakdale, four brothers all Monks, David, Fred, & Willie all of Oakdale. & B.L. Monk of Texas. five sisters Charty Monk, Mary Lee Roddy & Nellie Jordan all of Oakdale. Linda Nugent of DeQuincy & Dorothy Clover of Alexandra. She also leaves nine grandghildren & ten greatgrandchildren.
