Obituary Gonzales Inquirer Nov. 2, 1972 Services Held For Mrs. Windwehen Mrs. Martha Anna Windwehen died in the Holmes Memorial Hospital at 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Funeral services were held Monday at 2 p.m. from the Seydler-Holl chapel with the Rev. Allen Collins, pastor of the First Lutheran church, officiating. Burial was in the Hermann Sons cemetery. Mrs. Windwehen, the daughter of Fritz and Minna Koderifch Roeber, was born in German on July 18, 1887. She was married to Edmund Windwehen on January 10, 1910, and the family residence was on Route 2. Her husband preceded her in death on August 28, 1944. She had been a member of the First Lutheran church for 36 years. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Jake Kalinec of Ottine; one son, Karl Windwehen, Gonzales; eight grandchildren,one great grandchild; three sisters, Mrs. Hattie Will of Houston; Mrs. Ida Foster of Gonzales; Mrs. Anna Bartels of Nixon; and one brother, Henry Roeber, Gonzales.
