Beatrice Mazoch Yockey of El Campo passed away March 9, 2025 at the age of 95. She was born September 12, 1929 in Wharton County to John and Mary Kocurek Mazoch. She was a hairdresser and a member of Catholic Daughters of America Court # 1374. She is survived by her daughters Renee Boutelle of El Campo, Roxane Roach and husband Kenny of Katy and Sharon Martinez and husband Rick of El Campo; daughter-in-law Cheryl Yockey of Rosenberg; sister Edith Rachunek of Wharton; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Bill Yockey; son Dan Yockey; sister Martha Marek; and brothers I. J. Mazoch, Joe Mazoch and Alfonse Mazoch. Visitation will be 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Triska Funeral Home. The CDA Rosary will be recited at 9:15 am Thursday, March 12, 2025, at St. Philip Catholic Church and the Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 am with Rev. Dalton Ervin officiating. Interment will follow at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Taiton. Serving as pallbearers are Trey Yockey, Dustin Yockey, Austin Roach, Zachary Roach, Jason Roach and Joe Whipple. Donations in memory of Beatrice "Bea" Yockey may be made to St. Philip School.
