Bio
OBIT: Iva E. Davidson, 93, of 400 South Pearl, died Wednesday at Kittitas Valley Community Hospital. She was born July 20, 1887 in Surgionsville, Tenn., a daughter of Margaret (Berrick) and Neal (Cornelius) Watterson, and came to Ellensburg in 1911. She and James P. Davidson were married on June 12, 1912. He preceded her in death of February 5, 1962. She had worked in various businesses in the area, including the former White Kitchen Cafe, potato warehouses at Thrall, and the Pict Sweet Freezer Plant. In later years, she cared for senior citizens. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge and attended the Church of God. Survivors include: one son, James N. Davidson of Ellensburg; a daughter, Mrs. Floyd (Margaret) Webber of Kent; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; one brother, Hal Watterson of Ellensburg; and two sisters, Mrs. App (Nel) Legg of Weiser, Ida, and Mrs. Chet (Sybil) St. John of Ellensburg. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Evenson Chapel. The Rev. James Finkbeiner will officiate and burial will follow at the IOOF Cemetery. Ellensburg Daily Record, July 3, 1981
