Bio
Evelyn Francis Klima, 80, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. at Providence Funeral Home. Celebration of Life Mass will be Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Evelyn was a dedicated nurse for 50+ years. She worked in the operating room at John's Community Hospital for 30 years; at Scott & White Hospital with Dr. James Havalda for eight years; the Stromberg-Johns Hospital for seven years; and at the Sweetbriar Nursing Home about 10 years. Evelyn married Alvin Joe Klima on March 31, 1948 at the original St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Alvin James Klima, and eight brothers and sisters. Evelyn is survived by her husband Alvin Joe Klima of Taylor; daughter Danna Kemble of Georgetown; grandson, Robbie Kemble of Georgetown, and two granddaughters, Christie and Jamie Klima of Granbury. Pallbearers will be Victor Marek, Alfonse Mokry, Andrew Mokry, Bernard Mokry, Raymond Mokry, David Mokry, Wayne Roddy, and Frank Charles Krenek.
