Millie M. Pavlik, 81 , died January 15, 2005 at SPJST Nursing Home in Taylor. Rosary will be 7PM Monday, January 17 at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of life Mass will be 3 PM Tuesday, January 18, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery. Millie was born on May 24, 1923 to Vince and Emelia (Janak) Marek in Granger, Texas. She married Stanley Pavlik on November 19, 1946 in Taylor, Texas. This marriage was blessed with two children. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJZT. Millie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stanley Pavlik in January of 1983, 2 sisters, Annie Mokry, Vicki Roddy, 2 brothers, Andrew Marek and Englebert Marek. She is survived by her son, Thomas Pavlik and his wife Melanie of Houston, daughter, Theresa Poldrack and husband Larry of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandchildren, Sara Jacoby and husband Scott, Brian Poldrack, Rebecca Pavlik, Stephen Pavlik, sisters & brothers, Alice Grieger and husband Gilbert, Evelyn Klima and husband Alvin, Helen Veselka and husband Alex, Dan Marek and wife Susan, Jim Marek and wife Isabelle, Henry Marek and wife Elizabeth and several nieces and nephews. She will greatly missed by many loving family and friends. Pallbearers will be Clifton Marek, Edwin Marek, Melvin Marek, Troy Marek, Victor Marek, Ken Richter, and Glenn Whatley. Memorials may be given to St. Mary s Catholic School in Millie's memory.
