From the Bryan (TX) Daily Eagle , Wednesday, April 9, 1958, p. 10: Chief and Mrs. B. H. Krenek and children, Deborah Lee and B. H. Jr., arrived Tuesday from Topeka, Kansas, to be at the bedside of their father, W. H. Krenek, who is critically ill at Bryan Hospital. From the Bryan (TX) Daily Eagle , Thursday, April 10, 1958, p. 7: William Henry Krenek, 64, a resident of Bryan for 62 years, died in a local hospital Wednesday at 11:10 p.m. Born in Ennis, September 15, 1893, Mr. Krenek was a carpenter-contractor by trade and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the ODHS lodge. The Rosary will be recited by the Rev. Sylvester Fuchs of St. Joseph's Church at 7 p.m. tonight in the chapel of Hillier Funeral Home and the same priest will officiate at funeral services in the Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the College Station City Cemetery with the following active pall bearers: Brazos Varisco, Tom Murray, John Sodolak, Jack Fugate, J. W. Hoyak, Lewis Fagan, Bruno Krolczyk, and Travis Nelson. Named as honorary bearers are Richard Patrick and Leldon Thompson. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Geneva Krenek, Fin-Feather Road, Bryan; one daughter, Mrs. J. W. Barron, Chanute, Ill.; one son, Bryant H. Krenek of Topeka, Kansas; four grandchildren; three brothers, Theodore, Joe and Antone Krenek all of Bryan.
