From the Bryan (TX) Daily Eagle , Saturday, April 15, 1944, p. 1: Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Krenek, 84, who died at the residence, Route 4, Bryan, at 5:00 p.m. Friday, were conducted from the Hillier Funeral Chapel at 3 p.m. today and from the St. Joseph church at 3:30 p.m. with Rt. Rev. J. B. Gleissner officiating. Interment was in the Shiloh cemetery. Mrs. Krenek was born in Colorado county May 24, 1859, and had been a resident of Bryan for 45 years. Survivors include six sons, J. J. Krenek, Los Angeles, Calif.; T. H. Krenek, College Station; L. J. Krenek, W. H. Krenek, Joe Krenek and Antone Krenek, all of Bryan. Thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. Pallbearers were L. E. Nedbalek, Victor Boriskie, M. J. Salidiner, Tom Hanus, William Williams and Jack T. Johnson.
