Bio

Mr. Russell was born in a rural home east of Arcadia, NE, to Fred and Winnie (Larson) Russell, and attended Hayes Creek School and the Arcadia Public School, graduating in 1927. He attended Kearney State College where he met and married Lewetta Eaton of Julesburg, CO. They had one daughter, Kay. Mr. Russell was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Shelton, NE. He became manager of a Food Center Store at Arcadia and managed stores at Fullerton, Lexington and Shelton, NE, and Bakersfield, CA. Survivors include his wife, Lewetta; a daughter, Mrs. Kay Chase and two grandsons, Jack and Jeff Miller of San Francisco, CA. Three sisters, Mrs. Carol (Alberta) Lutz of Arcadia, Mrs Jim (Winifred) Widdowson of Gibbon, NE, and Mrs. Keith (Ada) Holmes of Olympia, WA. Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, Mrs, Paul (Ethel) Woody, and one brother, Ora Russell.
