Bio

Alberta was raised in Valley County and received her education in Arcadia School. She then continued her education at Kearney Normal. She taught school for eight years following. Alberta was married to Carol Lutz at Arcadia. They lived on a farm southeast of Acracia until 1974 when they moved into town. For the past nine months she has lived at the Ord Rest Home. She was a member of the Arcadia Rebekah Lodge, the Arcadia Garden Club and the Haze Creek Club. Survivors include her husband, Carol Lutz of Arcadia; a son Jim Lutz and his wife, Mary Ann of Arcadia; four grandchildren, James A. Lutz of Norfolk, VA, Karrie J. Simmons of Wood River, NE, Jeffrey D. Lutz of Arcadia, and Konnie Bethene Lutz of Arcadia; two sisters Ada Holmes of Olympia WA, Winnifred Widdowson of Gibbon, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son William Carol Lutz, one sister and two brothers.
