The Town Talk, 22 Jul 1996, Mon, Main Edition, Page 22 Ruth J. Davis COLE CENTRAL Services for Ruth J. Davis will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Lone Star Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Beauregard-Vernon, DeRidder. Mrs. Davis, 65, of Pitkin died Sunday, July 21, 1996, in Beauregard Memorial Hospital, DeRidder. She was a native of Cravens. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, Pitkin, and a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Zediekiah Davis Sr. of Pitkin; two sons, Zediekiah Davis Jr. and Gary Davis, both of Pitkin; two daughters, Carolyn Morvant of Dry Creek and Marolyn Davis of Pitkin; three sisters, Gladys Barmore of Rosepine, Addis Weldon of Pitkin and Rhoda Bailey of DeRidder; 16 grandchildren and 12 greatgrandchildren. Friends may call from 11 a.m.-10 p.m. today in the funeral home and from 9 a.m. until time of services Tuesday in the church.
