Bio

Ethyl Green, 97, passed away August 1, 2009 at Sanford Medical Center. Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at First United Methodist Church. Visitation will begin 1:00pm Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Heritage Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 6-8 pm. Ethyl M. Board, daughter of Henry and Gertrude (Hanna) Board was born August 29, 1911 in Carpenter, SD. She grew up in Doland, SD and received her education there. Ethyl was united in marriage with Earl Green June 1, 1932 in Milbank, SD. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls, where Ethyl was a homemaker and raised their six children. Ethyl enjoyed bowling, babysitting, and baking. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Ethyl was preceded in death by her husband, 2001; parents; two brothers, and five sisters.
