CISTERN - Adolph Vinklarek, 82, of Cistern, died Saturday, April 1, 2006. He was born June 9, 1923, in Hochheim. He was a rancher and a member of St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern, KJT, and Knights of Columbus. Survivors: sister, Julia peters of Ganado; brothers, Cyril Vinklarek of Cistern and Victor Vinklarek of El Paso. Preceded in death by: sister, Agnes Matocha and Ann Vinklarek; and brothers, Charley Vinklarek, Clement Vinklarek, Alexander Vinklarek, and William "Bill" Vinklarek. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home chapel. A rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern, the Rev. Joe Hybner officiating. Burial will be at Catholic Cemetery in Cistern. Smith Funeral Home, Flatonia, 361-865-3311. Memorials: donor's choice, Cancer Society, or Hospice.
