El PASO - Victor Vinklarek, 77, of El Paso, formerly of Cistern, passed away on Nov. 22, 2008. He was born Dec. 4, 1930, in Cistern, to the late Clem and Agnes Jurena Vinklarek. He was retired from ADT Security. He is survived by a brother, Cyril Vinklarek of Cistern; sister, Julie Peter of Ganado; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, and one sister. A rosary will be recited at 8:15 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008, followed by services at 9 a.m., at St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Cistern. Burial will be in St. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery. Smith Funeral Home, 128 E. 5th St., Flatonia, 361-865-3311. Published in the Victoria Advocate on 11/27/2008
