Bio
Mrs. Rachel Brown, 64, died at her home eight miles east of Gainesville Wednesday morning at 3 o'clock, following an illness. Funeral services will be held at New Hope cemetery Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. W. E. Moore, Baptist minister of Custer City, officiating. Burial will be in charge of George J. Carroll & Son. Mrs. Brown is survived by two daughters, Mrs. C. E. Mayall and Mrs. Claude Porter, Gainesville; and seven sons, Grady Brown, Gainesville; Marvin Brown, Levelland; Herschell Brown, Plainview; Guy Brown, Groom; Earl Brown, Seminole, and Pat Brown, Brownwood.
