Bio

My Great Grandmother ~aka Mammie Etta Lowery married George Miles in Blount County, Alabama on Feb. 21, 1883. They raised five children. After George died she remained a widow until her death 47 years later. Etta was a strong woman and proud of her southern heritage. She was a devoted mother and loved all her family. Daughter of Samuel Lowery & Mary Elizabeth Bird. ~~~~~
