Bio

Charlie was the youngest of 20 children. He moved to Grimes Co., TX in the early 1900's. He married Maud Woodward June 17, 1910. Maud was born in Iola,Tx July 13, 1890, the daughter of Ab and Ida Woodward. Their daughter Melba was born 7/6/1911 in Bedias. In 1927 they bought their first car and moved to Huntsville, TX. Melba went to college in Huntsville and earned a degree in 1930. In 1934 Charley died and Maud married Rev. Charlie Davis. Melba met and married Jack Sollock 1/16/1936 and they had 2 children Carolyn b: 5/1/1941 and Charles b: 1/18/1944. (Sandi Costa)
