Waco Tribune Herold Sunday, February 25, 1973 Funeral Monday For Mrs. Dyer Mrs. Jessie Dyer, 83, of 3700 Memorial died Saturday morning in a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Wilkerson and Hatch Chapel with Rev. Ernest DeWald officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Mrs. Dyer was born in Arkansas. She moved to Whitney as a child and attended Whitney schools. She married Vick Dyer on Dec. 23, 1908. He died in 1954. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Cecil B. Barker of Fort Worth; two sons, T. Ross Dyer of 2700 Memorial and J.W. (Jack) Dyer of 4315 Redbud Circle; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Rogers of National City, Calif,. seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
