Bio

Thomas Victor Shelley was son of James M.and Ina T. Shelley both born in Georgia. He was born on Dec 23, (1884 on tomb) (1885 on WWI Registration Card). (1885 is consistent thru out the census records). Born in Arkansas. Both father and son were engaged in the business of buying and selling poultry. As recent as the 1930 TX Hill Co., Whitney census, Tom was living with his mother & father, and was 44 years old and single. He was second husband of Bertie Octavia Simmons-Patterson from Alleene, Little River County, Arkansas. She and Tom lived in Whitney, Texas for several years, moving to Waco in about 1945, where they lived the rest of their lives.
