Sophie Elizabeth (Miller) Kemp - Obituary Itasca - Sophie Elizabeth Kemp died yesterday in an Itasca nursing home. She was 94. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the First United Methodist Churh in Itasca, where she was a member. Burial will be in Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Clayton Kay Funeral Home in Itasca is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Kemp was a retired cotton weaver. Survivors: Three sons, Wesley Kemp of San Antonio, Elmo Kemp of Rockport and Grover Kemp of Hillsboro; one daughter, Mary Freeland of Dawson; one brother, Leo Miller of West; three sisters, Pauline Whitfield of Itasca, Louise Duncan and Helen Smith, both of West; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
