Bio

Louis (Allois) Miller was the son of Paul Curt Miller and Mary Weinberger Miller. He married Susie Bill Englut on August 23, 1915 at Waco, McLennan County, Texas. They had four children: John Paul (never married), Vera Louise (married Theodore Gauer), Albert Frank (married Mary Agnes Rejcek) and Waunida May Miller (never married and died young). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Louis Miller, age 89, of West, formerly of Leroy, died Wednesday morning, July 7 at his residence. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 8 at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Gardiner Ellis officiating. Burial followed in the Olive Branch Cemetery near Leroy. Mr. Miller was born October 9, 1892 near Leroy and lived in the Leroy area all of his life. He was a retired farmer and carpenter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Susie Miller, who died June 16, 1979. Surfvivors include, one son, Albert Miller of Leroy, one daughter, Mrs. Ted (Vera) Gauer of Bellmead, one step-son, Kirby Alexander of Torrance, California, one brother, Leo Miller of West, five sisters, Sophie Kemp and Pauline Whitfield both of Itasca, Katie Slovak, Louise Duncan and Helen Smith, all of West; Eleven grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were: Robert Mashburn, James Miller, John Miller, Howard Rotramel, Noe Davila, Kenneth Danker, Billy Miller, Dennis Ayers, Jody Youngblood and Denny Barr.
