Whitney Messenger Friday May 23, 1930 T.R. (Reeves) Shelley, aged 61 years, died at Electra, Texas, last Monday. The body was returned to Whitney and funeral services were held at the Fort Graham Cemetery were the burial took place on Wednesday. The deceased was a brother of J.M.; J.H.; J.W.; and A.J. Shelley of Whitney. He resided here a number of years ago. His wife died some twenty-five years ago, since which time he has lived a widower. In addition to the brothers, named above, he survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Vannie Sooter, Decatur,Ark.; Mrs. Jane Wood, Knox County; Mrs. Lula Thompson, Peg, Okla.;A.W. Shelley, Drumright, Okla.; A.W. Shelley, Lubbock; A.B. Shelley of Siloam Springs, Ark.. He is survived by three sons and two daughters: Perry Shelley, Tyler; Homer and George and Mrs. Eula Mae Morris of Electra and Mrs. Zada Bell of Fort Worth.
