Bio

Daughter of George Washington and Alpha (Waters) Cobb. George died in 1918. Alpha married Henry Edgar Cobb in 1921. Henry and Alpha had 4 children before she died in 1932. OMA TRAPPANI went to be with the Lord February 13, 2011. She was born March 24, 1916 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to Alpha and George Duckworth. She was a longtime resident of Galveston. Married Santo "Sam" Trappani on 11/6/1973 in Galveston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Trappani. She is survived by her brother, Ralph Cobb; nieces Sharon Bassarab and Patricia De Floria; nephew David Wayne-Burke and her dear Ronnie Bolton. During her last years she was a member of Spring Baptist Church and the Sharing Love Class. She was loved and respected by those who knew her. A private interment service will be held later at Hayes Grace Memorial Park Cemetery, Hitchcock, Texas. For those desiring, contributions in lieu of flowers may be directed to the S. P. C. A.
