Alvin R. Peach, age 87, passed away October 24, 2010. He was born on October 31, 1922 in Albany, Texas to Joseph and Mary Pesch. He was a WWII Army veteran, worked for Dee Howard Aircraft Company from 1948 - 1987, owned and operated his own small ranch in south Texas, enjoyed the great outdoors, loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Peach, and is survived by his children, Blane R. Peach and wife Chris, Barbara L. Peach; granddaughters, Leann Moreau and husband Sean, and Sara Peach; great-grandson, Gavyn Moreau. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. A graveside service will be conducted at 9:45 A.M. on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
