Bio

Josephine Marie Ender, 92, died Monday, July 13, at a Stamford nursing home. Services were held Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mel Swoyer officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Brigham. Born in Houston, she moved from Albany to Sagerton in 1921. She and her late husband, Adolph C. Ender, farmed in Sagerton for 66 years. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton, TX. Survivors include four sisters, Julie Leake of Bovina, Sophia Hromas of Friona, and Frances Thane, and Mary Pesch, both of Stamford; four brothers, Joe Pesch of Phoenix, AZ, Charles Pesch of Aspermont, and Alvin Pesch of San Antonio; a daughter-in-law, Telka Ender of Sagerton; two grand children Gary Ender of Stamford and Stanley Ender of Sagerton; and two great-grandsons.
