Son of James Henry Doherty and Cordelia Jane Huff ~ ~ ~ ~ Mr. Homer L. Doherty, 87, passed away Nov. 12, 2007. He was born in Kemp Texas, on Sept. 28, 1920, to parents James H. Doherty and Cordie Huff Doherty. Services were held Nov. 15, 2007, in the Keever Chapel. Pallbearers were grandchildren. Internment followed in Myrtle Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Moody and the Rev. Russell Hathcock officiating under the direction of JE Keever Mortuary. Ennis Journal November 21, 2007
