Bio

Valentine Preston, the son of John S. Preston and Nancy Houchin, was born on January 23, 1868 in Grayson County, Kentucky. His maternal grandparents were John Decatur Houchin and Mahulda Lindsey. He died at the age of 25 years, 8 months and 12 days on October 5, 1893. He was buried in the Wilson Cemetery in Ready, Grayson County, Kentucky. His parents and other nenbers of his family are also buried in this cemetery.
