Bio

Jacob was the oldest of nine children born to Isom W. WELCH and Susan Catherine NOWLIN. He married Mary Bethenia McCRACKEN, on 22 Dec 1892, in Collinsville, Grayson, Texas, USA. One child: Barnie WELCH (1894-1983). Services for Jake Welch, 86, were held at the Red Springs Church of Christ. He died at the home of his son, Barney Welch, on his farm, north of Vera, Texas.
