Son of Isom W. Welch and Mary (Cummings) Welch. Married Martha Jane Nowlin, November 19, 1871. When he married her he became the brother-in-law of his father, who had married Martha Jane's sister, Susan. Children: J. Albert, Zora Ann, Sherod Thomas, and Andrew Jackson WELCH. Occupation: Farmer.
