Son of Martin Hajdik and wife Franciska Sula Hajdik. Married Louise Skarpa. {Corrected error from Joseph to Martin by Patricia Mlcak Bagwell.} OBITUARY FROM THE LIBERTY VINDICATOR, January 22, 1981 Joseph Frank Hajdik Mr. Joseph Frank Hajdik, 75, of Dayton, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Friday, January 16, 1981 in San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, Texas. He was born in Sealy, Texas and had lived in Dayton for the last 42 years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dayton. A rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 1981 in Sterling Funeral Chapel with Rev. Msgr. Paul Fee. Survivors include sons, Jerry Hajdik of Dayton; Joe Hajdik of Houston; daughters, Eleanor Prochazka of Deer Park, Mary Johnson, Mildred Sodolak and Margaret Chovanec all of Houston; Alice Wilder of Dayton; brothers, Louis Hajdik of Sealy; John Hajdik of Houston; sister, Annie Smesny of Sealy; 24 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. A funeral mass was celebrated at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dayton, with Rev. Msgr. Paul Fee officiating.
