Obituary: JOE CHARLES HAJDIK, 68, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005. Joe was the owner and operator of Joe Hajdik Machine Shop and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Louise Scarpa Hajdik and sister, Eleanor Prochazka. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Aline Tucker Hajdik; daughter and son-in-law, Gayle and Christopher Parker; granddaughters, Jessica Fay and Danielle Kay Parker; brother, Jerry Hajdik; sisters, Mildred Sodolak, Alice Bures, Marge Chovanec and Mary Johnson. Also surviving is a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation with the family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at Waltrip Funeral Directors where the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 11720 Joan of Arc Dr., Rev. John Cahoon, celebrant. Interment will follow in Memorial Oaks Cemetery. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Kirk Heyne; Dr. Jon Trent and Terri Armen, RN.
