Daughter of Josef Skarpa and wife Veronika Sodolak Skarpa. Married Joseph Frank Hajdik. OBITUARY FROM THE DAYTON NEWS, Thursday, March 7, 1968 Mrs. Hajdik, 58, Service Thursday A funeral Mass for Mrs. Louise Hajdik, 58, of Dayton, was held at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Anne's Catholic Church at Eastgate with the Rev. Paul Fee, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Eastgate Catholic Cemetery. Rosary was recited at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in the Sterling Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Hajdik died at 8 p.m. Tuesday in SanJacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown. She was a native of Frydek, Texas, and had been a resident of Dayton 32 years. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and the Altar Society. She is survived by her husband, Joe F. Hajdik; two sons, Joe C. Hajdik of HOuston and Jerome S. Hajdik of Dayton; five daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Prochazka of La Porte, Mrs. Alice Wilder of Dayton and Mrs. Mary Johnson, Mrs. Mildred Sodolak and Mrs. Margaret Chovanec, all of Houston; three brothers, Joe and Ed Skarpa, both of Dayton, and Frank Skarpa of Wallis, and 20 grandchildren.
