Rube R. Beard's Services Today Jacksonville - Services for Rube R. Beard, 75, who died Wednesday in a Jacksonville hospital after a short illness, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Frankston Church of Christ. Oles V. Pinson and Rev. J. A. Griffin will officiate. Burial will be in Frankston City Cemetery under direction of Renfro-Brown Funeral Home. Beard was born Sept. 20, 1894 in Frankston. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a World War I veteran. He was a farmer-rancher. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Beard of Frankton; three sons, Garnett Beard, Max Beard and Ruben Beard, all of Frankston; two brothers, Jack Beard of Frankston, Milton Beard of Kenton, Kentucky; one sister, Mrs. Vera Livingston of Dallas; and nine grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jack Griffin, Bruce Herrington, Joe Welch, Ralph Ellis, Herbert Riley and B. J. Beard.
