Max Rayburn Beard Frankston - Services for Max Rayburn Beard, 47, Frankston, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Blackwell and Blackwell Funeral Home Chapel, Frankston, with the Revs. Grover Thompson, Jerry Stanger and Chris White officiating. Burial will be in Frankston City Cemetery. Mr. Beard died Thursday at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born August 9, 1938 in Anderson County, the son of Rube Roy and Clara M. Levassar Beard. He married LaVonne Little on Dec. 4, 1962 in Anderson County and was a cattle rancher. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. LaVonne Beard of Frankston; two sons, Max Beard, Jr. and Wesley Beard, both of Frankston; two daughters, Sheila Renee Beard and Michelle Beard of Frankston; two brothers, Garnett Beard and Ruben Beard, both of Frankston; his mother, Clara Beard of Frankston; and a granddaughter, Taryn Nicole Beard of Frankston. Pallbearers will be Wayne Phillips, Jerry Beard, Elmer Gene Birdwell, Dana Bizzell, Roger Mitchell, Jessie Smith, Jr., Johnny Hardman and T. L. Beard. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Paul Shepherd, Earl Lang, Larry Lloyd, Larry Dunklin, Nick Nichols, Ronnie Mitchell and Larry Q. House.
