Printed in the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi dated November 26 1970 Retired Houlka Teacher Dies Miss Jamie Sue Patterson, 81, died at 1:30 pm, Wednesday, in the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Houlka Baptist Church and was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell Patterson of Houlka. Funeral services were held at 10:00 am, Friday in Houlka Baptist Church with Rev. Mack D Rutledge officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Old Houlka with Houlka Funeral home in charge. She leaves a brother, George W Patterson of Austin, Texas. Two sisters, Mrs. Emma Cook of Pontotoc and Mrs. Kate Marion of Houlka. Pallbearers were: Ross Young, Farrell Thomas, Garner Box, James Hardin, Wallace Norman, and Tom Davis.
