Printed in the Times Post, Houston, Mississippi, dated August 2 1951 Mrs. Hobson, 69, Dies at Houlka Services for Mrs. Amelia Patterson Hobson, who died at her home in Houlka at 2 o'clock Tuesday morning, were held Wednesday at 4 pm, at the Baptist Church in Houlka, with the Rev. J W Kitchens officiating. Mrs. Hobson was 69. Interment was in the Houlka Cemetery. Mrs. Hobson was the daughter of the Late Dr. D R Patterson. She was married to L C Hobson at Houlka in 1908. She leaves her husband, six daughters, Mrs. Eleanor Wood of Panama City, Fla., Miss H??let Hobson, and Mrs. W R McQuery of Houlka, Mrs. Joseph A Martin, Jr., of Houston, Mrs. Hershel George of Pontotoc, and Mrs. Roncyl Young of Calhoun City; five brothers, W A Patterson of Houlka, J L Patterson of Rome, Miss., D R Patterson of Jackson, Miss., George Patterson of Austin, Texas, and Charles Patterson of Sarepta, Miss.; five sisters, Mrs. Walter Collums, Mrs. W R Marion, Miss Jamie Sue Patterson, and Mrs. J H Hood, all of Houlka, and Mrs. Grady Cook of Pontotoc.
