OBITUARY: Minnie (Miller) Roth, daughter of William and Tillie (Troyer) Miller was born near Beaver Crossing, Nebraska on July 23, 1903 and departed this life on September 19, 1977 at the home of her daughter, Faye, at the age of 74 years, one month, and 26 days. In her youth she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and became a member of West Fairview Mennonite Church, where she was faithful until the Lord called her home. On February 11, 1923, she was united in marriage to Alvin Roth. This union was blessed with three daughters, Opal (Mrs. Leonard Lichti), Hesston, Kansas; Faye (Mrs. Lloyal Burkey) Beaver Crossing, and Donna Vogt, Hesston, Kansas. Those who remain are her husband Alvin, her three daughters, seven brothers: Henry of Oak Harbor, Washington; Homer, Lloyd, Floyd, Leslie, Wilbur, and Lyle all of Beaver Crossing, two sisters, Laura Otto of Beaver Crossing and Wilma Dolan of McCook, Nebraska. Also 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Proceeding her in death were her parents and one sister, Clara Smetter.
