Anthony was the eighth of twelve children born to Harry Joseph ISHERWOOD & Anna Marie KARNER Isherwood. His wife was Virginia Barbara Rzentkowski who he married on 2 Sep 1950, in Fancher, Portage, Wisconsin, USA. Their children were: Kathleen Marie, Mark Anthony, Mary, Patricia A., Peter J. and Paul Henry ISHERWOOD. Stevens Point Daily Journal , 8 Apr 1971 Anthony J. Isherwood, age 46, Two Rivers, WI, passed away in Madison, WI. Funeral services at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial in the parish cemetery. Shuda Funeral Chapel. Born May 13, 1924, in Stevens Point, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry Isherwood. He enlisted in the Navy and participated in the European Theatre and the Normandy Invasion during WW II. Upon his return he earned a B.S. degree at Stevens Point State Univ. Later he earned a M.S. at the Univ. of Wisconsin and did graduate work at Kansas State Univ. He taught at Crandon Junior High, Buffalo County Teacher's College in Alma and at Washington High School in Two Rivers. The past four years, Student Services Supervisor at Lake Shore Vocational and Tech. Institute, Manitowoc. A member of American Legion in Two Rivers, The American Personnel and Guidance Assoc., the WI Student Personnel Assoc. and the WI Schools of Vocation, Tech. and Adult Ed Assoc. He married Virginia Rzentkowski on Sept. 2, 1950, at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Fancher, she is among survivors. Other survivors; two daughters, Kathleen and Patricia, at home; three sons, Mark, Peter and Paul, at home; six brothers, Henry, Charles, James, Thomas, John, and William; four sisters, Florence and Mary Ann, Mrs. Victor (Romona) Jarvis, Milwaukee and Mrs. James (Grace) Pankratz, Madison. Preceded in death by one daughter.
