Bio
Jennie McFall, daughter of Harvey and Mary McFall was born in Daviess County, Indiana, September 1, 1873 and passed away at the home of her son, Lawrence at Emerson, Iowa, December 26, 1936 at the age of 63 years, 3 months and 12 days. She came to Jefferson county, Iowa with her parents at the age of six months. From there moving to Malvern in Mills county, Iowa, where she grew to young womanhood. In March 1890, she was united in marriage to Benj. F. Schipper, who preceded her in death fourteen years ago, on December 7, 1922. To this union were born ten children, all of whom survive. The are: Lawrence of Emerson, Iowa: Mrs, Hazel Reynolds, Ottumwa, Iowa; Mrs, Florence Ringer, Keeling, Wyoming; Lyle of Edgemont, South Dakota; Alva of Imogene, Iowa; Ben of Keeling, Wyoming; Mrs, Alice Cox and Mrs. Lucille Pront of Los Angeles, California; Marvin of Indianola, Iowa and Fred of Los Angeles, California. She also leaves two brothers, Frank McFall of Edmonds, Washington and Barney McFall of Malvern, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Vol Plumb of Macedonia, Iowa; Mrs. Henry Lewis of Callaway, Nebraska and Mrs Hester Speltz of Verango, Nebraska and twelve grandchildren. She was a member of the Christian Church of Elliott, remaining true to this religion throughout her life. Mrs. Schipper was a devoted wife and mother always trying to make life cheerful and pleasant for those around her. Funeral services for Mrs. Schipper were conducted at the Church of Christ, Elliott Monday, December 28, by Rev. M.C. Miller, pastor of that church. Burial was made in the Emerson cemetery. The pall bearers were five sons and one grandson. The music was furnished by Mrs. Clifford Lungren, Mrs. Leland Laird, S.O. Davis and O.J. Powell with Mrs. George Stayer at the piano.
