Benjamin F. Schipper B. F. Schipper. a resident of Moton's Mills in Montgomery County, Iowa, died at his home on December 5, 1922. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Emerson Baptist church and burial was in Emerson cemetery. The deceased had lived many years in Emerson vicinity. We recall that in years agone Ben Schipper was one of the fine, intelligent citizens of this county. Benjamin Franklin Schipper was born in Gladstone, Illinois., October 24,1858, and died at his home near Morton's Mills December 5, 1922, aged 65 years, 1 month and 11 days. He was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schipper and came with his parents to Iowa in 1880 and this state, excepting two years in Nebraska, has since been his home. He was united in marriage with Jennie McFall March 1, 1891. To this union ten children were born, all of whom survive him. He is also mourned by four grandchildren, one sister and two brothers and many warm friends. Information found in the Mills County Tribune, Thursday, December 14, 1922.Death of B. F. Schipper. The body of B. F. Schipper was brought here Thursday afternoon from Morton Mills for burial in the Emerson cemetery. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. W. H. Stickel, the pastor. Mr. Schipper had been in poor health for some time past, and passed away at his home in Montgomery County, near Morton Mills, Tuesday, December 5th, 1922. He was a resident of Mills County for a number of years and has many friends in the county, who sorrow over his demise. Benjamin Franklin Schipper was born at Gladstone, Henderson County, Illinois on October 24, 1858. He moved to Iowa with his parents in 1880, locating in Mills County, where he spent a good part of his life. He lived two years in Nebraska. He was married March 1, 1891, to Jennie McFall. To them were born ten children, who survive him. They are, Lawrence of Elliott, Hazel of Donaldson, lowa, Mrs. Florence Ringer of Hemingford, Nebraska, Lyle of Edgemont, South Dakota, Alva, Benjamin, Alice, Lucile, Marvin and Fred all at home.
