Bio

Ethel J Gustafson, age 65, Shafer, died June 1 at St. Croix Valley Hospital. She is survived by husband Helmer, son Dennis, daughter Karen, both of Shafer and 2 sisters, Mrs Esther Olseth of Minneapolis and Miss Violet Nelson, Lindstrom, 1 brother John E Nelson, Shafer, nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Saturday at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church, Center City with Rev James Almquist officiating.Robert Knutson was organist and Richard BVloom soloist. Pallbearers were Wilber Bloom, Mark Grandstrand, Joseph Ganter, Clayton Rivers, Russell Jonason and Earl Elfstrom.
