She was the daughter of James M and Cynthia Catherine Kuykendall Beasley, the sister of William Jesse , Martha Arrinda , Joseph Thomas , Annie Odella ,and Irene Elizabeth . She was also the mother of Andrew Hobert, Leona, Hubert, Mattie Lou, Annie Mae, Huie, Hosie, and Pierce for a total of 15 children.
