He was born October 4, 1943 in Athens to the late Joe Bud and Maggie Beatrice Frentress Dingler. Visitation for family and friends will be 12-1:30 P M Thursday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home, then process to New York Cemetery for a 2:00 P M Graveside Service. Coye was a lifelong resident of Athens and worked as a boiler maker for Brown and Root and H. B. Zachary Co. He was a gifted artisan who applied his skills to drawing, painting, custom bike building and the list was endless for his innovations. He was preceded in death by a brother Eddy Joe Dingler and grandson Donald Steve Fesperman. Survivors include son Yancy Shawn Dingler and wife Elance, Athens; brother Tillery Dean Dingler, Alburquerque, N.M.; sister Sonita Dingler Perkins, Tyler; daughters Diana Woodruff, Athens; Teressa Anderson, Mabank; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
