Fairfield resident Della G. (Hansen) Timmerman, 76, died Friday, Oct. 18, 2002, at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings. Services were held Wednesday at Butler-Volland Funeral Home chapel in Hastings with the Rev. Michael Houlihan officiating. Burial was in Blue Valley Cemetery at Ayr. ***** Mrs. Timmerman was born March 12, 1926, to Hance P. and Mary L. (Weber) Hansen in Amelia. She married Elias Timmerman on Dec. 15, 1941. She worked at the M & M Bakery in O'Neill. They moved to Hastings where she was employed by the Grand Motel. They moved to Ruskin and later to Fairfield. Survivors are her husband; one son, Alvin of Tecumseh; two sisters, Margaret Timmerman of Fairfield and Rosie Garhart of O'Neill; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, James; one daughter, Helen; three sisters; one brother; and one grandchild.
