Copied with permission: Shawnee News-Star: July 21, 2007: Shawnee resident Margaret Louise Timmerman, 85, died Thursday, July 19, at Sunset Estates. She was born Aug. 14, 1921, in Amelia, Neb., to Hans Peter Hansen and Mary Louise (Webber). On June 27, 1941, she married Dick Jacob Timmerman in O'Neil, Neb. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, working her word search puzzles and spending time with family. Preceding her in death were her parents; three children, Shirley Jean Timmerman, Richard Lee Timmerman, Timothy James Timmerman; sisters, Kathryn Spence, Dorothy Neal, Annie Farris, Della Timmerman; brother, Edwin Hansen. Survivors include her children, Delbert Timmerman, David Timmerman, Arlene Gregg, Steven Timmerman, Connie Kitchens, Thomas Timmerman, and John Timmerman; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and sister, Rosa Garhart. Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brand Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Blue Valley Cemetery in Ayr, Neb., under the direction of Brand Wilson Funeral Home.
