Timmerman, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Also son Douglas 3 years and daughter Michele 3 months died in Tulsa, Okla., Thursday, November 23. They are survived by one son David 5 years old, their parents. Funeral services will be Monday, December 4 at 2:00 p.m. in our Chapel with Rev. James Tapley officiating. Burial will be in Blue Valley cemetery. HDT 2 Dec 1967 pg 7 Services have been set tentatively for Monday with the Butler-Volland Funeral Home in charge for a Tulsa, Okla., family of four who died in their home of asphyxiation. James E. Timmerman, 23, his wife Darlene and son Douglas, 3, and daughter Michele, 3 months old, were victims of what Tulsa authorities said was leaking gas. A 5-year-old son David, also in the home at the time, survives. Timmerman, who was born at O'Neill, is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eli Timmerman, and a brother Alvin of McAlester, Okla., and his sister, Mrs. Helen Foster of Lincoln. He was a nephew of Oscar and Benny Timmerman and Mrs. Otto Timmerman, all of Hastings. Mrs. Darlene Timmerman was a native of Beloit, Wis., where her relatives reside. HDT 1 Dec. 1967 pg 7
