Bio

Willie Maye Chappell was born on February 4, 1886, in Hillsboro, Texas, USA. Her father was John Abner Chappell, and her mother was Margaret Kezia Jones Chappell. John Abner Chappell died when she was young, and her mother remarried Abel Overstreet. Willie married William Frank McReynolds on July 3, 1902, in Oklahoma, USA. They had eight children. In 1941 the family relocated to Arizona and lived in the Maricopa County area. She died on October 27, 1974, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 88. She is buried at the Resthaven Park West Cemetery in Glendale, Maricopa County, Arizona.
