Margaret Alice (Nelson) Ulrich, age 91, of Sac City, Iowa, was called to her eternal death on Wednesday, May 3, 2006, at the Park View Care Center in Sac City. She was born on August 11, 1914, at Herman, Nebraska to Stacy and Margaret (Taylor) Nelson. Margaret became a child of God through Holy Baptism on April 3, 1936, and was confirmed as a member of the Lutheran Church at Meadow Grove, NE on the same day. On September 12, 1931, Margaret married Anton Ulrich at Pierce, Nebraska. This marriage was blessed with two sons, Jim and George. Margaret made her home in and around Sac City since 1946. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, and V.F.W. Auxiliary. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, crocheting, sewing, and working in her garden. Margaret is survived by her two sons, Jim of Cherokee and George of Sioux Falls, SD; seven grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Pearl Smith of Utah; two brothers, Delbert Nelson of Phoenix, AZ and Russel Nelson of Roseburg, OR; many relatives; and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Anton in 1986, her parents, three sisters, seven brothers, and a granddaughter.
