Bio

Oran Wilford (Uncle Bubba), was the 4th of 9 children born to Oran Milo and Erin Annie Scripture Roberts, Jr. A veteran of WWI, 132nd Light Field Artillery, 61st Field Artillery Brigade, 36th Division, he lost his only child in WWII. He and his wife, Mary, owned a Mom and Pop grocery store in Austin, Texas but retired after he was almost killed in an armed robbery (he was pistol-whipped). He was a Mason. He died at St. David's Hospital.
